What we clean in West Ealing

Regular clean, from £49

Our regular cleaning is booked weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and the discount grows with the frequency: 20% off weekly, 15% off fortnightly and 10% off monthly. Each visit keeps the floors, kitchen, bathroom and dusting in hand, which is most of the work in a terraced house or in a flat made out of one.

Deep clean, from £179

If your home has not had a professional clean in the last month, your first visit is a deep clean, which we call the Introductory Clean. It adds skirting boards and blinds to the regular list, and your cleaner begins in the kitchen and bathroom, the rooms that usually need it most.

End of tenancy clean, from £179

An end of tenancy clean is for the empty home at the end or the start of a let. It reaches inside the oven, the fridge, the cupboards and the drawers, and plenty of West Ealing homes are rented, as the figures below show.

Run an office or other workplace in West Ealing? We clean those too: tell us about the space on our commercial cleaning page and we will send you a quote.

West Ealing homes: what to tell us

Our base on Burnham Way is about a mile south of West Ealing station, so the Broadway and the roads either side of it are close to home for us. When you book, tell us which floor you live on, how we get in, where a cleaner can park and whether you have pets.

More about West Ealing homes and the Census

The 2021 Census counted 6,197 households in Walpole ward, which covers the West Ealing Broadway. Of those, 2,186 (35.3%) rented privately, a little above the share for Ealing borough as a whole, 34.0%. Regular cleans are booked by owners and renters alike, and a renter will also want an end of tenancy clean when the time comes to move.

West Ealing was pieced together from older hamlets, among them Drayton Green and Castle Bar, and Ealing Dean is the old name for West Ealing itself. Its housing still mixes eras. At the 2021 Census, 1,683 households in Walpole ward lived in a terraced house, 1,351 in a flat inside a converted or shared house, and 1,521 in a purpose-built block.

If yours is a converted flat, tell us which floor it is on, whether the front door is shared, and any entry code or buzzer number. We carry our own vacuum and mops, so a top-floor flat means a climb with kit, and it helps to know before the day.

North of the Broadway, the St Stephen’s conservation area is centred on The Avenue and North Avenue. Ealing Council’s appraisal describes two-storey detached and semi-detached houses from the late 19th and early 20th centuries; some kept their original attics, and others had attic rooms and dormers added later. The old St Stephen’s church on Castlebar Hill was turned into flats in the 1980s. Count an attic bedroom when you pick the number of bedrooms on our prices page, because we price by the size of the home, and a booking that matches the house gives your cleaner a fair run at all of it.

Across Walpole ward, 143 households lived in a commercial building, such as a flat over a shop. If that is you, tell us where the street door is and how we get in. For a house, say how many floors it has, and mention any pets, which our terms ask you to do at booking. Trains from West Ealing station run on the Elizabeth line and Great Western Railway, and parking is covered in the questions below.

West Ealing cleaning questions

Where can the cleaner park in West Ealing?

West Ealing is covered by several Ealing Council controlled parking zones, and their times differ. Zone H, around Denmark Road and Hastings Road, is controlled Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm. Zone WE, the town centre zone that takes in Leeland Road, Seaford Road and Oaklands Road, runs on weekdays from 9am to 10am and 2pm to 3pm, while zone NN around Drayton Green also runs on Saturdays. If you can give us a visitor permit, or a space on your drive, tell us when you book.

How often can I book a regular clean?

You can have us every week, every fortnight or once a month, at 20%, 15% and 10% off respectively. Fortnightly is our most popular choice, and for a couple or a single professional in a flat it is usually enough. Your regular schedule can start straight away, or after a deep clean if your home has not had a professional clean in the last month.

Which clean do I need: regular, deep or end of tenancy?

Think of them as three levels. The regular clean is upkeep for a home you live in, covering floors, the kitchen, the bathroom, dusting and beds. The deep clean does all of that and adds skirting boards and blinds, and it comes first if your home has not had a professional clean in the last month. The end of tenancy clean needs an empty home and also works inside the oven, fridge, cupboards and drawers. The room-by-room detail for all three is on our cleaning checklist.

Can I cancel or move a booking?

Yes. Call, text or email us with at least 24 hours’ notice and we will cancel the clean or find you a new date. Please tell the office rather than the cleaner, because our terms only count notice given to us by phone, text or email.

How much does a clean cost in West Ealing?

Regular cleans in West Ealing start at £49, and deep or end of tenancy cleans at £179. We price by the size and condition of the home. Choose your bedrooms and bathrooms on our prices page and your price shows before you book.
