What we clean in Chiswick

Regular clean, from £49

You can have our regular cleaning each week, each fortnight or each month. Weekly cleans carry 20% off, fortnightly 15% and monthly 10%, and because the price follows bedrooms, bathrooms and condition, it works the same way for a terraced house off the High Road as for a flat in one of the mansion blocks near Turnham Green.

Deep clean, from £179

A deep clean is the first visit if your home has not had a professional clean in the last month. Skirting boards and blinds are added to the usual jobs, and the cleaner deals with the kitchen and bathroom before moving on to the other rooms.

End of tenancy clean, from £179

We do an end of tenancy clean once a home has been cleared, reaching inside the oven, fridge, cupboards and drawers. If you are leaving a rented flat above a High Road shop or in a converted building, book it for after the removal van has gone.

Chiswick homes: what to tell us

Census 2021 recorded 16,004 households across Chiswick’s three wards: Chiswick Gunnersbury, Chiswick Homefields and Chiswick Riverside. Of those, 5,366 (33.5%) were renting privately, a little higher than the 30.9% recorded for Hounslow as a whole. Source: ONS Census 2021, table TS054, via Nomis (Chiswick wards, Hounslow).

When you book, put the number of floors, your parking zone and any door code in the booking notes.

More about Chiswick homes, parking and the Census

Owners and renters both book our regular cleans, and renters need an end of tenancy clean as well when they move out.

Chiswick began as a cluster of separate villages, and its homes still change from one part to the next. Bedford Park, laid out from 1875 near Turnham Green station, is mostly red brick houses built without basements, and detached houses there are rare. Around Turnham Green itself stand mansion blocks of five and six storeys, among them Arlington Park Mansions and Heathfield Court. Along Chiswick High Road most buildings are three storeys, with shops at street level and homes above, while the streets off Wellesley Road near Gunnersbury are mainly two and three storey Victorian semis and terraces.

At Strand on the Green, a riverside path runs past eighteenth century houses and old fishermen’s cottages, with narrow alleys linking it to Thames Road, and the path floods at spring tides. The roadway along Chiswick Mall is allowed to flood from time to time as well.

When you book, tell us how many floors you have, and whether a flat sits up several flights or above a shop. Pass on any door code or concierge details. If you live on the river path, give us the nearest road and the quickest way through. Hounslow runs several controlled parking zones in Chiswick, Grove Park, East Chiswick and Chiswick Riverside among them, so tell us your zone, whether you can offer a visitor permit and whether there is a driveway. The size and condition of the home set the price, and the number of bedrooms tells us whether to send one cleaner or two.

Chiswick cleaning questions

Which parts of Chiswick do you cover?

We take bookings across the W4 postcode district. That includes W4 1 around Turnham Green station, W4 2 along Chiswick Mall, W4 3 at Strand on the Green and Grove Park, W4 4 near Gunnersbury station and W4 5 by Chiswick Park station.

Where can the cleaner park in Chiswick?

Chiswick has several Hounslow controlled parking zones, and the boards at each zone entrance show when it is in force. Residents inside a zone can apply to the council for visitor permits, so let us know if you can give us one, or if there is a driveway or a space off the street. Some newer buildings are not eligible for permits, so please check yours before the first clean.

Do you bring your own cleaning products and equipment?

Yes. We bring the supplies and the kit, vacuums and mops included. If you would like a particular product used on a surface, call us before the day of the clean. Occasionally, depending on the condition of the home, we may ask you to have a working vacuum cleaner ready for us.

What if I am not happy with the clean?

Get in touch inside our 24-hour re-clean window, list what was missed and send photos of it, and a cleaner will return to redo those areas at no cost to you. Someone will need to let us in for that return visit.

Can I cancel or move a booking?

Yes, as long as you give at least 24 hours’ notice. Call or text 07476 687221, or email us. Please do not leave the message with your cleaner on the day, because that does not count as notice.

Booking, payment and cancelling

See your price and book online. You pay by card through Stripe: we place a hold for the full price when you book, or 7 days before your clean, and nothing is taken until the clean is done. If you need to cancel or move your clean, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
