What we clean in Kew
Regular clean, from £49
Book regular cleaning every week and you save 20%; every fortnight saves 15%, and once a month saves 10%. What you pay follows the bedrooms, bathrooms and condition of the home, so a riverside cottage and a 1930s semi near Mortlake Road go through the same short booking form.
Deep clean, from £179
If your home has not had a professional clean in the last month, you start with a deep clean: everything on the regular list, plus skirting boards and dusted blinds. It works the same for a flat as for one of the large villas near the station.
End of tenancy clean, from £179
The end of tenancy clean is for moving day, once the rooms are empty, and we do the oven, fridge and cupboards inside and out. If you rent one of the Kew Riverside apartments or a flat near the station, book it once your furniture and boxes are out.
We also clean offices and other workplaces in Kew. Share the details of your space on our commercial cleaning page and we will send you a quote.

Kew homes: what to tell us
Kew homes run from riverside cottages to blocks of flats, so when you book, tell us the number of floors, the way in and where the cleaner can park.

More about Kew streets, homes and the Census
Kew ward had 5,002 households at Census 2021, and 1,403 of them (28.0%) lived in privately rented homes. The figure for Richmond upon Thames as a whole was 24.7%. Regular cleaning works for owners and tenants alike, and a tenant moving out needs an end of tenancy clean on top.

Kew grew from a village around its Green with strong royal links, and the arrival of the railway in 1869 drew more people in. Kew Green is fronted by Georgian and Victorian houses, and the roads beyond it are mostly two and three storey semis and terraces, with short rows of nineteenth century cottages along the river path, Willow Cottages and Thetis Terrace among them. Around Kew Gardens station the streets are largely late Victorian. Station Parade and Station Approach form a shopping area, Lichfield Road has large detached villas on the way to Victoria Gate, and some big Victorian houses have made way for blocks of flats of three or four storeys. Near Atwood Avenue and North Sheen Recreation Ground, most homes are two storey inter-war houses, chiefly detached houses and semi-detached pairs from the 1930s and 1940s, and Lawn Crescent has twenty pairs of red brick semis set round a central garden. On the riverbank at Kew Riverside are apartments and some terraced houses built this century.
Please give us the number of floors and bathrooms, say whether a flat shares an entrance with a door code, and tell us how the cleaner gets in. If an alarm is fitted, switch it off before the clean or give our office the code, and mention a pet that will be loose in the house so the cleaner takes care at the doors. The parking rules are in the questions below.
Kew cleaning questions
Which parts of Kew do you cover?
We take bookings anywhere in Kew, which falls in the TW9 postcode district. TW9 3 includes Kew Green and Kew Gardens station, and TW9 4 takes in the streets around the National Archives.
What separates your regular, deep and end of tenancy cleans?
Our regular clean is the routine visit for a home you live in: we sweep and mop the floors, clear cobwebs, dust the shelves, clean mirrors and glass, make the beds, and in the kitchen clean the sink and the fridge’s exterior. The deep clean has all of that plus skirting boards and dusted blinds, and it comes first if your home has not had a professional clean in the last month. For an empty home, the end of tenancy clean goes furthest: oven, fridge, cupboards and drawers are cleaned inside, blinds, doors and frames are wet-wiped, and the washer and dryer are wiped down outside. Our cleaning checklist sets each one out room by room.
Do you clean flats as well as houses?
Yes. Every home is priced by its bedrooms and bathrooms, so a one-bedroom flat and a four-bedroom house are booked in the same way. Homes with one to three bedrooms get one cleaner; for four bedrooms or more we normally send two, though a regular clean may need only one.
Can I cancel or move a booking?
Yes, if you give us 24 hours’ notice or more. Email [email protected], or call or text 07476 687221, and we will set a new date with you. A clean that has already been moved can be moved again to a later date.
Where can the cleaner park in Kew?
Kew’s controlled parking zones include KA Kew, KB South Kew and KC North Kew. The North Kew zone is in force from 10am to 4.30pm every day, bank holidays included, and on some Kew Gardens event days and Gtech Community Stadium match days an event zone covers the same streets until 11pm. Your cleaner can park in your zone with a visitor scratchcard or a session you book in advance, though not in pay and display bays. Let us know which you can give us, or if there is a driveway, and warn us if your clean falls on an event day.
Booking, payment and cancelling
See your price and book online. You pay by card through Stripe: we place a hold for the full price when you book, or 7 days before your clean, and nothing is taken until the clean is done. If you need to cancel or move your clean, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
We are open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, and closed on Sunday. Call 07476 687221 or email [email protected].
