Our deep clean is everything in a regular clean, plus skirting boards and blinds. I leave the inside of the oven, fridge, cupboards and drawers to our end of tenancy clean, which is for an empty home.
We’re based in Northfields, W13, and clean homes across Ealing and west London. If your home has not had a professional clean in the last month, this is the clean you’ll have first, so it helps to know exactly what you’re getting.
What our deep clean includes, room by room
This is the same list as on our page for deep cleaning in Ealing. It sits on top of the regular clean, which keeps the floors, kitchen, bathroom, dusting and beds in hand. I’ve written about the regular clean in detail in what’s included in a standard cleaning service, so I won’t go over it again here.
Bedrooms and living spaces
- Floors swept and mopped
- Cobwebs cleared and shelves dusted
- Mirrors and glass cleaned
- Skirting boards cleaned
- Blinds dusted
- Beds made
Kitchen
- Floors swept and mopped
- Dirty dishes gathered and loaded into the dishwasher
- Inside of the sink cleaned
- Outside of the fridge cleaned
- Blinds dusted
Bathroom
- Floors swept, vacuumed and mopped
- Cobwebs cleared
- Skirting boards cleaned
- Blinds dusted
We’re happy to load your dishwasher, but we don’t put the dishes back in the cupboards afterwards, because we don’t want to break anything. We bring all the cleaning supplies, products and equipment. If you’d like to compare the regular, deep and end of tenancy cleans line by line, our cleaning checklist shows all three side by side.
How the clean works on the day
We start with the rooms that need the most attention, usually the kitchen and bathroom, then work through the rest of the home. The deep clean is time-based. That time is what allows a more thorough clean than a regular visit.
It also means the checklist is a guide. The overall condition of your home decides how much your cleaner can complete in the time, which is why we start where the work is heaviest.
Your price doesn’t run on a clock, though. I price by the size of your home and its condition, never by the hour, and you see the price before you book.
What the deep clean leaves out
These jobs belong to our end of tenancy clean, not the deep clean:
- Wet-wiping blinds (blinds with heavy build-up may need it)
- Inside drawers
- Inside the oven
- Wet-wiping doors and frames
- The outside of the washing machine and tumble dryer
In the kitchen, the deep clean does the outside of the fridge. Going inside the fridge and cupboards is end of tenancy work as well. We don’t clean behind appliances on a deep clean either: that only comes with an end of tenancy clean.
Thin metal or plastic blinds only ever get dusted. They bend easily, so we don’t try anything more than that, even on an end of tenancy clean.
Every clean can be adjusted to what your home needs. If you want any of these jobs added, call us on 07476 687221 before the day. Your cleaner works from the details agreed when you booked, so jobs asked for at the door can’t be added on the spot. And if you’d like us to clean behind furniture during a deep clean, please move it before we arrive.
Jobs we don’t do on any clean
Some things aren’t part of any of our cleans, deep or otherwise. If you’re unsure about something in your home, call us and we’ll talk it through.
- Outside windows
- Inside dishwashers and washing machines
- Steam cleaning carpets, or polishing and waxing floors
- Lifting or moving heavy items such as the fridge, cooker or tables
- Anything we can’t reach safely with telescopic cleaning tools and a step stool
- Heavy marks on walls and skirting boards, as we don’t want to damage your paint
- Lots of pet hair on upholstery, or strong smells such as smoke or mould (we’ll do our best, but can’t promise)
Building work is its own job. Renovations leave fine dust and debris that a standard clean doesn’t usually cover, so you need a post-construction clean. That isn’t on our online booking system: we’d come and see the home and give you a quote in person.
What a deep clean costs
The deep clean and the end of tenancy clean share the same starting prices:
- Studio: from £179
- 1 bedroom: from £189
- 2 bedrooms: from £199
- 3 bedrooms: from £229
- 4 bedrooms: from £269
- 5 bedrooms: from £284
- 6 bedrooms: from £299
- 7 bedrooms: from £329
Your price is based on the size of your home and its condition. You’ll see it in the booking box on our cleaning prices page. I call you before every booking to confirm the details, so that’s the time to tell me if parts of the home need extra attention.
Every deep clean comes with our 24-hour re-clean guarantee. If you’re not happy, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll come back and re-clean it for free.
When to book a deep clean
Your first clean with us. If your home has not had a professional clean in the last month, you start with our Introductory Clean, which is a deep clean. Because it’s time-based, your cleaner has the time for a more thorough first clean of your home. We may also need to add it if the home is particularly dirty.
Before a regular schedule. After your deep clean you can book a regular clean weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and each comes with a discount: 20% off weekly, 15% off fortnightly and 10% off monthly. The regular visits then keep on top of a home that has already had the deeper work done.
As a seasonal reset. Skirting boards and blinds aren’t part of a regular clean, so dust settles on them over the months. A deep clean in spring, or before family come to stay, catches up on them.
If you’re moving out or moving in, the deep clean isn’t the one to book. Our end of tenancy cleaning in Ealing is made for an empty home and goes inside the oven, fridge, cupboards and drawers.
