Richmond climbs away from the Thames, and its homes change as the ground rises. On the south-east side of Richmond Green, the terraced townhouses date mainly from the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries and most are three storeys high, while Pembroke Villas on the north-west side are Italianate pairs of two and three storeys. In the streets of central Richmond the houses are mostly Victorian terraces and semis of two storeys, often with an attic room. Shops fill the ground floors of the three and four storey buildings in the town centre, and some upper floors there are still lived in. At the town end of Hill Rise, an eighteenth century terrace has shops below and homes above, and higher up Richmond Hill several large houses were replaced in the twentieth century by blocks of flats, Richmond Hill Court among them. Down by the water, the towpaths are prone to flooding.
When you book, tell us the number of floors, whether there is a lift, and any entry code, concierge or key arrangement. Our terms ask you to arrange access, for example a keycode or drop box, and to switch off an alarm or give us its code. Yes, once the flat or house is empty. We clean the oven, fridge and cupboards inside, wet-wipe the blinds, and wipe the washing machine and tumble dryer down on the outside. Please clear out the fridge and cupboards first, because a home that still has belongings in it may have to be moved onto a regular or deep clean instead.
How much does a clean cost in Richmond?

How often can I book a regular clean?
There are three patterns to pick from: weekly at 20% off, fortnightly at 15% off or monthly at 10% off. You are not tied into a long contract. Regular visits can start straight away, or after a deep clean if your home has not had a professional clean in the last month.
How do I pay?
By card, through Stripe. The full amount is reserved on your card either at booking or 7 days before the clean, and it is only charged after the clean is complete. Our system keeps a token rather than your card number.
What if I am not happy with the clean?
Our re-clean guarantee is a 24-hour one, counted from the end of the clean. Call, text or email us in that window with the areas that were missed, and photos if you can, and we will come back and clean them again free of charge.
Booking, payment and cancelling
See your price and book online. You pay by card through Stripe: we place a hold for the full price when you book, or 7 days before your clean, and nothing is taken until the clean is done. If you need to cancel or move your clean, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
