What we clean in Northfields

Regular clean, from £49

In an Edwardian terrace off Northfield Avenue, a regular clean keeps the house ticking over between your own tidy-ups. We vacuum and mop, dust, clean the kitchen and bathrooms and make the beds, and you save 20% by booking weekly, 15% fortnightly or 10% monthly.

Deep clean, from £179

We call our deep clean the Introductory Clean. Skirting boards and blinds go on top of the regular jobs, which makes it the right start for a house on Lavington Road or a flat above a parade shop that has gone a month or more without a professional clean. If your home has had a professional clean in the last month, your regular visits can start straight away.

End of tenancy cleaning in Northfields, from £179

End of tenancy cleaning is for moving day, once the furniture has gone. Your cleaner works through the empty rooms and adds the jobs a move calls for: the oven and fridge inside, the kitchen cupboards and drawers, blinds and door frames wiped wet, and the washing machine and dryer wiped on the outside.

Our base is in Northfields, so offices and other workplaces here are close to home for us too. Tell us about your space on our commercial cleaning page and we will come back to you with a quote.

Northfields homes: what to tell us

Most homes in Northfields are terraced houses, so when you book, say how many floors yours has, whether the loft is now a room, and where your cleaner can park.

More about Northfields homes, parking and the Census

Census 2021 counts 5,583 households in Northfield ward, which includes both the station and our own street, and 1,608 of them (28.8%) rent privately. Across the borough of Ealing the share is 34.0%, so private renting is less common here. If you own, a regular clean may be all you need; if you rent, add an end of tenancy clean for the week you move out.

Ealing Council’s 2023 appraisal of Northfields describes a grid of streets that went up quickly in the Edwardian years, helped by the tram on Uxbridge Road from 1901 and the new station in 1908. Most homes are terraced houses on narrow plots, with shallow front gardens and bigger gardens behind. North of Lammas Park the houses are larger and more decorated, and the south side of Elers Road has some of three storeys or more. When you book, give us the true number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and tell us if a loft has been turned into a room.

Flats are the exception here. The appraisal calls them unusual in the area and points to the post-war blocks at Walpole Close and Kemsley Court on Rathgar Avenue, and to five interwar maisonette blocks on Bramley Road with outside stair railings. Several of the Edwardian parades on Northfield Avenue have homes on the upper floors. If you live above a shop, tell us where your front door is and how many flights lead up to it.

Zone N covers the streets around the station, including Burnham Way, Ridley Avenue, Blondin Avenue and Niagara Avenue, and its restrictions apply Monday to Saturday from 9am to 10am and 3pm to 4pm. The lower end of Northfield Avenue, with roads such as Salisbury Road and Mayfield Avenue, is in zone GG, which runs Monday to Friday from 10am to 11am and 2pm to 3pm. The appraisal notes that paved-over front gardens are mostly on Northfield Avenue itself. Tell us if your cleaner can park off the street, or add a visitor session for them on your PayByPhone account.

Northfields cleaning questions

Which parts of Northfields do you cover?

All of it. Northfields spans two postcode sectors, W13 9 and W5 4, and parts of Northfield and Walpole wards. In street terms we take bookings from the Northfields Allotments in the north to Little Ealing Lane in the south, and from Midhurst Road across to Lammas Park.

Do you clean flats as well as houses?

Yes. Our booking form asks for your bedrooms and bathrooms, not the type of building, so a maisonette on Bramley Road books the same way as a terraced house. For homes with one to three bedrooms we send one cleaner; for four or more we usually send two.

How often can I book a regular clean?

You can choose weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits, and fortnightly is the most popular of the three. If the house goes from tidy to chaotic within a couple of days, as it can with young children or pets, a weekly visit keeps on top of it. We do not tie you into a long-term contract.

What if I am not happy with the clean?

Contact us within the 24-hour window after the clean and we will send a cleaner back to redo it at no cost. Our terms ask you to list the missed areas, with photos, so we know what to put right.

Do you bring your own cleaning products and equipment?

Yes. Your cleaner arrives with vacuums, mops and cleaning products. If you want a particular product used in your home, call us before the clean. Now and then, depending on the state of a home, we may ask you to have your own vacuum cleaner ready.
